A short escape to Port Dickson with the girls~!!
It has been ten years++ since the last time I came to Port Dickson with my family!
Lian managed to get us a room at Lexis Port Dickson, and yet it is free!!! Thank you Lian and your father. =D
p/s: this is my first try to write about hotel.
Lexis (4 star hotel) located just beside Grand Lexis (5 star hotel). Sister brother relationship huh.
Lexis Port Dickson is a Balinese inspired resort located along the coastal stretch of Port Dickson, situated near the town of Lukut at a distance of about 2 km from Port Dickson. It is easily accessible via the North-South Expressway and is about an hour's drive (100 KM) from Kuala Lumpur. (Lexis, Port Dickson, 2014)

Lexis has 4 types of accommodation:
- Premium Tower Seaview
- Deluxe Water Chalet
- Executive Water Chalet
- Premium Water Chalet.
and, our room is Premium Tower Seaview. As we are staying the room for free, so I don't know about the rates. I have just figured it out at their website, the rates are different based on the dates you choose, and the promotion Lexis offered, ranging from MYR 300++ to MYR 500++.
Check-in at the lobby..
While waiting for Lian to settle the check-in stuff, the lobby staffs deliver the welcome drinks for us. The customer service from a 4 star hotel is different huh..
Lexis is also providing buggy ride for the guests. This is to fetch the guests who stay at water chalet as there is 5-6 minutes walk from lobby to water chalets.

Bedding - 1 King & 1 Queen Bed
Hair dryer, towel, shower cap, shampoo..................... all provided! EXCEPT TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE!!!!! as I forgot to bring it, and I thought the hotel will provide both toothbrush and toothpaste, but they DO NOT!!!! Thus, I got to buy one at the shop nearby. =.=

The water chalets with private swimming pool! Cool huh! But too bad, this is only at Grand Lexis, but not Lexis.
TV provided, but only few channels available.
How about Wi-Fi? As four of us are using our own data, so none of us bother about the Wi-Fi. But FYI, there is Wi-Fi service provided as well.
Cups, coffee, creamer, tea, sugar, kettle and refrigerator.. every basic stuffs is provided!
Okay, that's all for the room views. Now lets walk around Lexis. For the dining area, Lexis has Coffee House, Lobby Bar Lounge and Karaoke Centre. However, we do not take any meal here as we plan to have our dinner outside and prepare our own breakfast in the next morning.
No private swimming pool? Nevermind, we can swim here!
Other than swimming pool, fitness centre, there are many other recreational facilities as well, such as Archery, Segway, Fishing, Cycling and so on. But you would have to pay for some of the activities. (check it out at their website for more info about the hotel and recreational facilities.)
